One person died and a second person was seriously injured in a fiery, one-car rollover crash early Monday at a Hillsboro intersection, police said.
Officers responded about 4:30 a.m. to Northwest Tanasbourne Drive and Northeast Stucki Avenue and found the car on its top and on fire, police said in a news release.
One person died at the scene and officers removed a second person who suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, police said.
Police didn’t identify the people involved. They said they didn’t know what caused the crash.
The Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team is investigating, police said.
Several roads were closed nearby and police asked people to avoid the area.
