Businesses all over Eugene have spent the past months sprucing themselves up for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22, the first time the international track competition has taken place in the United States. But along with the stunning new Hayward Field itself, the Lane County Farmers Market is among the only events to get a whole new home.
In June, the market debuted a new pavilion, enabling farmers and craftspeople to sell their wares Tuesdays and Saturdays, year-round, shine or, as so often is the case in the Willamette Valley, rain.
