EUGENE — Oregon outfielder Anthony Hall was drafted by the New York Yankees.
The Ducks’ leader in home runs and RBIs last season, Hall was drafted by the Yankees in the fourth round with the No. 130 overall pick of the MLB Draft on Monday.
Hall hit .333 with 14 home runs and 56 RBIs over 59 starts in 61 games for the Ducks last season, including .357 with 10 home runs and 33 RBIs in Pac-12 play. He scored 53 runs, hit 17 double and had a team-high .640 slugging percentage.
In 124 career games, Hall hit .307 with 21 home runs and 101 RBIs.
The San Diego native, who has two years of eligibility remaining, entered the transfer portal earlier this month.
Hall is the second current Oregon player to be selected in this year’s draft, joining Josh Kasevich (Toronto Blue Jays, second round).
