About 7,000 Portland General Electric customers across the Portland metro area are without power Thursday morning.
The utility’s outage map shows 57 ongoing outages with 7,125 customers affected as of about 8:30 a.m.
Multnomah County was hardest hit by the powerful winter storm, with an estimated 2,000 customers affected in the western half of Portland.
Downed trees are driving the outages, the utility reported. Crews are working to restore power by 3 p.m., officials said.
