The Portland Pilots make their first NCAA women’s basketball tournament appearance since 1997 when they play Oklahoma at 6 p.m. Saturday in Pauley Pavilion.
Portland, a 12-seed, earned an NCAA tourney berth after it won the West Coast Conference tournament championship, beating Gonzaga 64-60. Oklahoma, a 5-seed, advanced to the NCAAs as an at-large team, having shared the Big 12′s regular season title with Texas.
