The Story Behind The Mudslide
The Mudslide was originally concocted in the 1970s by a bartender known as Old Judd, who at the time worked at the Wreck Bar on the north coast of Grand Cayman Island. The story goes that a bar patron requested a White Russian. For an unexpected twist, Old Judd added Bailey’s Irish Cream, and the Mudslide was born.
A boozy blend of vodka, coffee-flavored Kahlua liqueur, and Bailey’s Irish Cream cuts through the richness of heavy cream to create a sweet treat with complex cocoa notes. Popular as an after-dinner dessert drink, the Mudslide can be enjoyed on the rocks or frozen, and is sure to satisfy even the biggest of sweet tooths.
