Oregon won a slug fest over Arizona State to clinch the series.
Eight players combined for 11 extra-base hits, including four home runs, for the No. 23 Ducks in a 16-10 win over the No. 17 Sun Devils, who belted six homers, Saturday at PK Park.
The win moves Oregon (29-12, 12-7 Pac-12) within one game of first in the Pac-12, half a game back of ASU and one back of Stanford.
Wyatt Crenshaw homered twice for Arizona State (28-14, 13-5), the second tying the game at 2 in the third.
Oregon scored six in the bottom of the frame via a Tanner Smith single, Jacob Walsh double, Josiah Cromwick three-run home run and Gavin Grant (3 for 4) double.
Colby Shade (3 for 5) and Drew Cowley, who each homered on Friday, hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth to make it 10-3.
Logan Mercado (4-0) allowed four runs on six hits and three walks and struck out eight over 6.0 innings for UO. Matt Dallas picked up a rare 3.0-inning save despite allowing six runs on five hits and two hit batters.
The Sun Devils scored three in the top of the seventh, though Shade got a run back in the bottom of the inning.
Oregon plated four more in the eighth on an RBI single by Drew Smith, double by Grant and two-run double by Rikuu Nishida.
ASU scored three more with two outs in the ninth via two more home runs.
The teams will conclude the series at noon Sunday.
