Saturday’s high temperature reached 82 degrees in Portland, continuing a nine-day streak of temperatures 80 degrees and above. Five of those days hit 90 degrees and above.
Well, that’s over — at least for part of the week ahead, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.
Morning clouds over the city Sunday mean the high temperature may reach only 70 degrees. Then the temperatures dip even lower, dropping to highs of 67 and 68 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.
Expect the weather to warm up on Wednesday, when the National Weather Service says the high could reach 77 degrees. Thursday’s high could reach 82 degrees before Friday settles at 76.
