The northbound lanes of OR 551, a popular route from eastern parts of Willamette Valley to access northbound Interstate 5, will close for several weeks for paving, concrete replacement, and other work.
The Oregon Department of Transportation will keep OR 551 closed under the OR 99E bridge from Monday, May 22 all hours and days through about June 19. Crews will be removing and replacing the concrete and asphalt surface.
Detour signs will direct northbound traffic to use OR 99E to Ehlen Road to reconnect travelers with OR 551. See map.
Residents in the area can expect construction noise all hours and days.
