Several hundred people gathered in North Portland on Saturday for the annual Delta Park Powwow and encampment — a free, family-friendly event celebrating Native American culture.
In addition to Native arts and craft vendors, cultural exhibits, fry bread and other delicious food offerings, the intertribal dance routines are a show-stopping event drawing participants and spectators from across the region.
The powwow runs through Sunday, June 17, at East Delta Park (North Denver Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard).
