Natural gas proponents in Oregon have scored a small victory, though it’s likely to be short-lived.
The Eugene City Council on Monday rescinded an ordinance that would have prohibited natural gas hookups in new low rise residential construction. Eugene had been the first city in Oregon to pass such a measure, though other cities are now working on their versions of the ban.
