For a second straight season Kelly Graves will have to hire a new assistant coach.
Oregon women’s basketball assistant Sadie Edwards is leaving to join Nicki Collen’s staff at Baylor.
“I am thrilled to join the staff at Baylor,” Edwards said in a release. “It is a great honor to be a part of one of the most historic programs in women’s college basketball history. Coach Collen has an outstanding track record for success and I look forward to helping her continue the winning tradition at Baylor.”
Edwards, who came to UO in August 2022 from the New York Liberty, earned $119,000 this year. Her contract expired on June 30.
The Ducks and Bears will play this season on Dec. 3 at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
