Over nearly two centuries, Delamain Cognac has established itself as a guardian of traditional Cognac. The brand will be exhibiting at next month’s Wine & Spirits Show, held in London’s Chelsea Old Town Hall.
Jointly hosted by the drinks business along with our sister title The Spirits Business, The Wine & Spirits Show will be hosted at Chelsea’s Old Town Hall on 15, 16 and 17 October.
About Delamain Cognac:
The firm was founded way back in 1824, when Roullet & Delamain was established. The firm stayed in business under this name for another four generations until 1920 when the Delamain family was left as sole owner and the name was changed to today’s Delamain & Co. Delamain’s involvement in cognac dates back to the arrival of Irishman James Delamain in 1759. Today, the company is managed by 9th generation family member Charles Braastad, who remains committed to creating Cognacs in their purest expressions.
New Products:
In 2020, Delamain Cognac launched the Pléiade Collection. These are originate from a single harvest, or a single vineyard, and a single cask – thus unblended, but also slowly and patiently reduced, with no sweetener or added colouring, they are Cognacs presented in their purest expression.
