Welsh mineral water brand Tŷ Nant has moved back to 100% British ownership after being bought from its previous Italian owners.
As part of their new ownership, the Tŷ Nant Foundation has been formed – essentially, a grassroots way for the brand owners to make a difference and uphold the values of the company by listening to customers’ causes close to their hearts so that allocation can be made by independent trustees.
The foundation is set to be funded by a share of profits from Tŷ Nant and help the business “make a difference” on a local level “wherever their customers are based”.
Tŷ Nant, which has been an icon in the fine dining space for the last 30 years, has its own on site wind turbine and all of its products produced by 100% clean green energy at the 200 acre organic Tŷ Nant Estate in rural Bethania, Wales, making it highly sustainable. The estate also has its own forest which is part of a rewilding project in the area and the new owners have allegedly already made a multi million pound investment in the estate and manufacturing facilities.
Tŷ Nant can be found in venues such as: Harvey Nichols, Hakkasan, Nobu, Gordon Ramsey’s Lucky Cat, Bob Bob Ricard, 51 Buckingham Gate, All UK Mélia hotels, Tattu and Wagamamas.
