One of two Portland men seeking revenge for a bullet wound and a purported love triangle was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday for gunning down a man at a Southeast Portland boarding house in 2017.
A jury found Jon A. Hughes guilty last month of second-degree murder and other charges for firing the fatal round that struck Robert L. Kaiser in the chest about 11 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2017.
