Agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the theft of 35 firearms, mostly rifles, from a trailer stolen from the lot of Oxford Suites hotel on Hayden Island on May 9, 2022.
A 27-year-old man accused of helping to steal a trailer filled with guns made his first appearance in federal court Tuesday afternoon after his arrest the night before.
Alexander Kean Barber and 19-year-old Angelina Nicole Pintor-Schindler stole the trailer May 9 from a hotel parking lot on Hayden Island, prosecutors said. The 35 guns inside had been on display at a weekend gun show in Portland.
