Let’s be honest, the Ashes have not been an awful lot of fun to watch if you happen to be from England. But one Aussie made sure that his compatriots had the time of their life during the second test by downing three beers in a row to rapturous applause.
While England limped to a sorry 275-run defeat in Adelaide, one Aussie fan was clearly in the mood to party, and entertained the crowd around him by downing not one, not two, but three beers.
Naturally, the moment was captured on camera and has since been shared to social media.
Sky Sports News reporter Jamie Weir posted the video on Twitter and captioned the footage “The most Australian minute of video you’ll ever see”.

It’s an expert display in working the crowd, who were in raptures by the time the gentleman came to see off his third beer.
And Twitter users were equally taken by the man’s antics. “And he recycled every cup!!” One commenter pointed out, while another simply added, “I love this guy”.
The third test is due to get underway in Melbourne on Boxing Day. England’s own Barmy Army will be hoping that they finally have something to celebrate. Maybe even (whisper it) some first innings runs.
