A bicyclist died Sunday night after a collision with a car in the St. John’s neighborhood.
Portland police were called out to North Juneau Street and Chautauqua Boulevard just after 10 p.m.
Paramedics at the scene informed officers the bicyclist had already died, police say. They haven’t publicly identified the bicyclist.
Police have not released any other details about the crash but said the driver stayed at the scene during the investigation.
There have been at least 28 traffic fatalities in Portland so far this year, 13 of which have been pedestrians, according to data from the Portland Bureau of Transportation.
