The MLS Players’ Association released a full, updated list of player salaries on Tuesday. The Portland Timbers’ top earners have shifted slightly from 2022, with a new addition at the top of the list: prized offseason signing Evander, who garnered a club-record $10 million transfer fee just to acquire.
After signing a contract extension that added more years to his deal following two major knee surgeries, forward Felipe Mora took the biggest pay cut on the team, down from $875,000 base salary in 2022 to $120,000 in 2023.
Veteran defender Dario Zuparic had the biggest pay bump on the Timbers, going from $375,000 base salary in 2022 to $735,000 in 2023.
