Cathead Distillery Old Soul Straight Bourbon Whiskey

For this release, Mississippi’s Cathead Distillery blends Indiana-distilled bourbon with proprietary whiskey — both of which are produced using an identical high-rye mash bill. Instead of the caraway and menthol notes that are typical of the grain, this bourbon brims with sweet, confectionary aromas, then serves notes of tart berries and sweet caramel on the palate. Mix with sweet vermouth and bitters and you’ll have yourself a memorable Manhattan.
