The top floor of the fire-ravaged apartment building at Southwest 14th Avenue and Taylor Street partially collapsed Wednesday, just 30 minutes after a spokesperson for the Portland Fire Bureau warned the entire 1910 masonry structure could crumble.
“We could lose this building at any time,” said Rick Graves, the spokesperson, around 3 p.m. “It’s that perilous.”
