This Champagne is dry, and the palate is all Pinot. It smells like apples and cinnamon with sour pears. It gets nice and fat on the mouthfeel, broadening out with a good depth of fruit. There is a hint of lemon and pastry on the palate, with a slight bitter finish. This is a great bottle to tie a meal together.
