A former girls basketball coach at North Salem High School is now on paid administrative leave as the district investigates claims made by a former member of the team who said he was inappropriately touching players.
On Monday afternoon, Salem-Keizer School District told The Oregonian/OregonLive that Trever Ball, who is currently a health services teacher at North Salem High School and formerly coached the girls basketball team, is on paid administrative leave as of Thursday.
Community Relations and Communications Director Aaron Harada said putting a staff member on administrative leave is standard procedure regarding allegations made against staff while the district conducts an investigation.
