Michael Wolfe this week was sentenced to life in prison for the 2019 murders of 25-year-old Karissa Fretwell and their 3-year-old son William Fretwell.
Wolfe, 55, entered a guilty plea last month, changing his plea from not guilty nine days before his trial was scheduled to begin. His plea deal with the Yamhill County District Attorney’s office included that he would not face the death penalty.
