Oregon hit six home runs and Tanner Smith broke the program record for career hits in a series-opening blowout of Northwestern State.
Sabin Ceballos hit two home runs and had six RBIs and Smith went 3 for 4 with a double, homer and two runs scored to lead a 16-1 Ducks rout Friday night at PK Park.
Smith’s double in the second inning broke Gabe Matthews’ school record for career hits (246) and he added to it later in the game.
