Oregon capped its regular season with a series-clinching rout of Utah.

Matthew Grabmann allowed two runs on five hits and htree walks and struck out three over a season-high 6.0 innings for the freshman, who earned his first career win.
Tanner Smith (2 for 4) hit an RBI double and Drew Smith followed with a two-run single to give Oregon (33-20, 16-14 Pac-12) an early lead.
Drew Cowley (2 for 4) added a two-run home run in the second to make it 5-0.
Utah (22-32-1, 9-20-1) got on the board in the bottom of the inning, Oregon got the run back on a Drew Smith RBI ground out in the third, then the Utes got a solo homer in the fourth to make it 6-2.
The Ducks scored nine straight runs; two in the fifth on a triple by Bennett Thompson (4 for 5), a Cowley RBI ground out in the sixth and six in the seventh via a two-run double by Gavin Grant, single by Rikuu Nishida (3 for 6), wild pitch and two-run single by Sabin Ceballos (3 for 4).
Grayson Grinsell threw a perfect seventh, Dylan McShane allowed a run on two hits in the eighth and Josh Mollerus struck out two in a perfect ninth to close it out for UO.
