SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Garret Forrester stood outside the Oregon State Beavers dugout late Wednesday night with sweat beading on his face, muscles aching up and down his body and a fresh new haircut.

He might not have been able to prepare his body for Arizona’s 100-degree May heat, but at least he could fine-tune his mullet.
