CORVALLIS — After playing one of the more eventful doubleheaders in recent memory and outlasting the triple-digit heat of the Pac-12 baseball tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona, the real adventure began for the Oregon State baseball team.
The Beavers gathered Monday morning at their hotel to watch Selection Monday, then split up into travel groups, scattering onto six different afternoon flights bound for Portland. Along the way, they waited out connecting flights, endured airline delays and even sat through a long bus ride during a 10-hour travel day.
