Justice Adrienne Nelson, 55, has served as an associate justice on the Oregon Supreme Court since 2018, and previously was a trial judge for nearly 12 years on the Multnomah County Circuit Court.
President Joe Biden has nominated Oregon Supreme Court Justice Adrienne C. Nelson to serve as a federal judge, which would make Nelson the first Black woman to serve on Oregon’s U.S. District Court.
