The Roosevelt softball team picked up a big upset on Monday night in a 10-9, extra inning victory over McDaniel at Roosevelt High School.
The win for the Roughriders makes the top of the Portland Interscholastic League a three-way tie between Roosevelt, McDaniel and Franklin with each team sitting at 9-3 in the city race on Monday night.
