The Portland area is facing a lovely, sunny Saturday with a high temperature around 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
This is a little cooler than yesterday, which brought record-breaking temperatures to several places in the area. The Portland Airport reached 88 degrees yesterday, breaking the record of 82 that was set in 1998. Hillsboro saw 90 degrees, which broke a 92-year-old record. The previous record there was 87, which was set in 1931, according to the National Weather Service.
Tomorrow will be a lot cooler. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and a high temperature around 64 degrees. The possibility of showers hangs around Monday and then the five-day forecast is calling for a couple partly sunny days.
