Ten goals in two dominant shutouts isn’t a bad way to head into some time off.
The Portland Thorns beat the Orlando Pride 6-0 on Sunday afternoon at Providence Park, the team’s second straight win by four goals or more. It was a showcase of just how dominant this side can be when it is clicking in all facets. Sophia Smith had a brace for Portland while Hina Sugita, Becky Sauerbrunn, Natalia Kuikka and Taylor Porter each scored as well.
