The Portland Trail Blazers begin a five-game home stand Friday night against the Chicago Bulls in pretty much the same position they’ve been in for much of the second half of the season.
The injury list is littered with stars.
Damian Lillard (right calf tightness) has been downgraded to questionable. Jusuf Nurkic (right knee soreness) has been downgraded to doubtful.
Anfernee Simons (right foot soreness) and Jerami Grant (left quad contusion) were already out.
Nassir Little (concussion), however, has been upgraded to probable.
Quite frankly, it smells like the tanks are lining up for the Blazers with 10 games remaining.
The Blazers enter Friday in 13th place in the Western Conference and 3 1/2 games out of 10th.
For the Bulls, DeMar DeRozan (quad strain) has been declared out.
