The gradual warming trend we’ve been enjoying will continue this weekend. If you’re heading outside to catch the NASCAR action at Portland International Raceway or Hillsboro’s annual Pride Party, there will be sunny skies and a high near 79 degrees in the Portland area today.
Sunday’s weather will be more of the same with sunny skies and a high near 76. It will be breezy later in the day with gusts as high as 25 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The workweek will start out with a high of 81 Monday before heating up to 91 on Tuesday.
The temperature should drop back down into the 80s for the rest of the week in the Portland area. But the dry conditions — now at more than two weeks without rain — will continue as Oregon heads into fire season.
