In a spring and summer filled with big track and field meets in Eugene, this weekend’s Prefontaine Classic is among the marquee events on the calendar.
The two-day event begins at 7 p.m. Friday at Hayward Field with a program featuring five distance races, including the USA Track & Field championships in the men’s and women’s 10,000 meters. Friday night’s events can be livestreamed on USATF.TV.
