Raegan Breedlove and Allison Benning threw a combined no-hitter for No. 13 Oregon, which extended its win streak to 10 games.
Breedlove walked one over 3.2 scoreless innings and Benning allowed two unearned runs on two walks over 1.1 innings of relief in a 13-2 Ducks win in five innings against Pacific Thursday night at Bill Simoni Field in Stockton, California
Allee Bunker went 3 for 3 with a grand slam and five RBIs, Terra McGowan drove in three and Tehya Bird and Ariel Carlson each also homered for Oregon (32-11).
McGowan hit an RBI single to left to score UO’s first run and Vallery Wong drew an RBI walk to make it 2-0 after one.
McGowan added a two-run single and Carlson hit a two-run homer to make it 6-0 in the second.
Bird led off the third with her sixth home run of the season, then Bunker added a sacrifice fly and KK Humphreys drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 9-0 after three.
Bunker swatted her grand slam in the fourth to match a career-high in RBIs for the fifth-year senior, who last had five RBIs on Feb. 12, 2021 against Weber State.
Pacific (9-25) scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth on two walks, two errors and a wild pitch before the Ducks closed it out.
Oregon heads to Berkeley for a three-game series at Cal beginning at 3 p.m. Friday.
“We came in here playing a faceless opponent and it’s the same thing for Cal,” Breedlove said. “This was a little warmup for the weekend, a little confidence boost to prepare us.”
