The Story Behind The Fuzzy Navel
Originally crafted by New Jersey bartender Ray Foley, author of “Bartending for Dummies,” the Fuzzy Navel surged in popularity in the 1980s, when super-sweet and fruity drinks were all the rage. The drink is made using just two ingredients: peach schnapps and orange juice. Hence, fuzzy refers to the skin of a peach, while navel refers to the type of orange.

Ingredients
- 3 ounces peach schnapps
- 3 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
- Garnish: 1/2 orange slice
Directions
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Add the peach schnapps followed by the orange juice.
- Stir gently and garnish with orange slice.
