A new competition is coming to ABC and this time, balance is key.
The series “The Final Straw” premieres on ABC on Sunday, July 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. You can also watch it on FuboTV (free trial).
“In my 18 seasons in the NFL, I have learned there is no better formula for success than a strategic plan and good teamwork,” Peyton Manning, executive producer of the new show and founder of Omaha Productions said in a press release. “Both will be required in ‘The Final Straw’ as teams from across America execute their playbook to keep their towers standing.”
The concept of the show is to build an over-the-top fixture that is solid and will not move despite attempts to sabotage it. Teams will compete to build the sturdiest – and most impressive – piles of random items from basketballs to small kitchen appliances. If the tower falls, the team is eliminated; the last team standing will compete against The Mega Stack for $250,000. Comedian Janelle James hosts the series.
