Portland police have released the identities of the two men who died June 4 in a single vehicle crash on the Morrison Bridge in Southeast Portland.
The driver of the car was Larry A. Ayala-Valdez, 22, of Milwaukie, and the passenger was Adrian Gama, 22, of Clackamas County.
Investigators say Ayala-Valdez was driving a black 2003 Mercedes 500 eastbound on the Morrison Bridge when it struck the guardrail and went over the bridge, falling onto Southeast Water Avenue. Police responded to the crash at 2:17 a.m. and found the driver and passenger dead in the rolled-over vehicle.
Police said speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
